MEET THE ARTIST. . .

Years ago, the desire to express myself through creating art brought me to study at The Atlanta College of Art and with accomplished artists in the metro area. A passion was born! I now produce, exhibit, and teach art on a full time basis.

I work in a variety of mediums: oil, acrylic, pastel and other drawing media. I choose the medium and style that best fits the subject matter at hand. I create my paintings from life or from my imagination. Whether a portrait, landscape or abstract work, I look for the emotional content in a subject and attempt to have the viewer connect with that emotion.

In addition to my painting schedule, I am a member of the art faculty at the Jacqueline Casey Hudgens' Center for the Arts and at Dacula Classical Academy in Gwinnett County. I teach privately in my Stone Mountain studio. I'm a member of local art organizations and exhibit in group, juried and solo shows on a regular basis.
